The scene you find intriguing, intrigues me, too. Quite a "guided story" there. I was in camp on a small island on a lake in Canada and had taken boxes of pastels to work with. There was a nudge that said, "go do a large spontaneous landscape on the granite cliff." I could not believe the leap then to let go and do it. I suppose the total areas was larger than 9x12 -- maybe 12 x15. Suddenly the earth was a part of it all and the weeds and flowers. It was only later from a row boat from the waters taking pictures before the rain erased all, that I saw the figure of the womyn. Utterly freeing like listening to the webcast last night.
